On the 2 June 2005, my brother and I helped my father at the Daughters' Banquet at the Prince of Peace Luther Church in Rose City, Michigan.

Community

Being involved in community service is especially important to me. I am particularly interested in educational issues, lesbian/gay issues, and issues of justice/peace. However, in addition to working on braoder issues, I firmly believe service must begin in the immediate neighborhood as well as with one's family.

As part of my service, I sometimes give time, sometimes give money, and sometimes loan my skills for short term projects such as photographing an event. I have also donated stationary and artwork for fundraising events. Also, much of my writing and teaching materials are released under a creative commons licenses.
